Edwin P. Rather, M.D. Dr. Rather graduated from the University of Tennessee Medical School and trained in Dermatology at the University of North Carolina College of Medicine. He was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1972 and in Dermatopathology in 1975. He served as Chief of Dermatology at Davis Monthan Air Force Base from 1971-1974. Dr. Rather started the Dermatology Department at Thomas Davis Clinic in 1975 and later joined Tucson Dermatology, Ltd. in 1982.

Bruce H. Lynn, M.D. Dr. Lynn graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He trained in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital and he was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1978. Dr. Lynn has been a fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery since 1998. He was in private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida for 24 years as well as Chief of Staff at the St. Petersburg General Hospital. He practiced in Michigan for almost 4 years and joined Tucson Dermatology, Ltd.in October 2006.

Tracy L. Thomas, M.D. Dr. Thomas is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and achieved the prestigious Merck Manual Award for Individual Achievement. She received her Dermatology specialty training at the University of Arizona and the University of New Mexico. Dr. Thomas worked for over a decade in Clinical Cancer Research at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. She also completed a Fellowship in Molecular Pathology. Her interests in dermatology include the care of skin cancers, psoriasis, the maintenance of healthy skin, and skin rejuvenation.

W. David Jacoby, Jr., M.D. In loving memory, June 2, 1943 ~ November 25, 2009 Dr. Jacoby was very proud of his thirty years as president of Tucson Dermatology Ltd. Spending his days with his fellow physicians, fun loving staff and beloved patients filled his life with great joy. We will miss his love and laughter.

Medical & Dermatological Societies

Dr. Rather, Dr. Lynn, and Dr. Thomas are active in numerous medical societies including the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Rather is past president of the Southwestern Dermatologic Society. Dr. Lynn is the president of the Arizona Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Society and a member of the American Society of Mohs' Surgeons.
